In 2015 I met Denise, 36 years of age, a young married mother of 3 living in Virginia. Denise told me she contracted a case of Lyme disease in 2009. When mysterious neurological symptoms arose she was eventually diagnosed with the Lyme infection by her family doctor. She began a standard North American course of antibiotic treatments.

The Lyme symptoms continued to significantly worsen over the next 4 years. She and her husband consulted with medical experts throughout their struggle and found they were variously subjected to MS and Parkinson’s therapies, and many more drugs and antibiotics. The worsening state of neurological and mobility disability was progressing without any end in sight and they regarded the situation as quite hopeless and distressing.

In 2013 they saw an advertisement for a Lyme disease public lecture in South Carolina by Dr Rau, Medical Director at Paracelsus Clinic. They attended the information lecture and became convinced the different Biological Medicine methods being suggested were entirely different in approach. They attended a local clinic in South Carolina to receive these therapies, but found the clinic was not able to deliver many of the methods in use at Switzerland due to both restrictive regulation and training. They decided to contact Paracelsus Clinic and attend there.

Denise and her husband told me within the 3 weeks of their visit at Paracelsus they experienced the first breakthrough progress in her condition since their nightmare had begun. In fact, if Denise hadn’t told me her experience, I would have never known she had been so desperately sick recently. Denise is quite frustrated that there is no capable Biological Medicine service like this available in their local area to continue her maintenance and progress. They are very upset about the obstruction regulation seems to impose upon making people well. Their ongoing therapy plan is to continue returning to Lustmühle every 4 to 6 months.
