Female, 42-year-old came to clinic with complaints of chronic cough and chronic intestinal complaints – often diarrhea and occasional constipation. General tests done in orthodox medicine were negative and essentially normal.

Patient was extremely sensitive, hence did not tolerate even various inhalers given. Nothing was addressed from the G.I. system as she was labeled IBS. There was also ongoing vaginal yeast infection. Examination and tests done – Acute sensitivity /pain to rib margin?/diaphragm; all lung fields were clear but cough starts with patient supine. History suggests mold exposure – worse in winter and in moldier buildings – worse in cabin.

Further tests with chelation challenge confirm heavy metal toxicity of lead and mercury. VCS tests confirms neurotoxin exposure. Autonomic response testing confirm blocks at liver, pancreas with presence of salmonella (patient recalls exposure during early childhood).

Treatment approach included significant work on removing exposure of heavy metals in diet. Oral chelation with drainage of particularly liver, intestines and pancreas. Patient had poor response even with basic drainage and orthomolecular treatments. Nurotoxin binders were used – charcoal – and cough was somewhat improved. Digestive issues started improving after using botanicals with drainage focused on liver, pancreas and colon.

The cough was not fully resolved until it was discovered that there is an emotional block behind . This became apparent after patient broke down and one day described about the shame and guilt behind an infidelity, an affair kept away from her husband. This was significant as the usual candida treatments that worked previously with other patients did not seem to hold for her. After this was addressed, then the upper respiratory and yeast infections resolved.

After this, she was now able to tolerate the oral chlorella. In the end, Pleo Chelate, along with Pleo Not, shifted her system with full resolution of her digestive systems. This was also my first exposure to the use of Sanum remedies, as few other things have fully shifted and improved and tolerated by her system.
