At 27-years-old I had been suffering from weekly migraines that lasted 1 to 3 days for 10 years. I went to a headache specialist (well known) in Chicago who had me on blood thinners and Tylenol with codeine and other prescription pain killers.

After about 1 year, I started having blood in my stool which was attributed to the medications. I had just hard of a homeopath opening an office in the area. I went to him and in one month, my headaches were reduced to 1 day, once a month and eventually 1 to 2 per year for which Aspirin will eliminate.

Since then I have used homeopaths for myself and family, as well as anthroposophical medicine for the last 27 years. Now I want to help others as well, and am attending naturopathic school at Bastyr to meld conventional medicine with natural healing, as they both have a place.
